I am an HTML street-fighter, photography enthusiast, an avid traveler, a road warrior, kitchen adventurer, tech geek, and presently experimenting with SEO. I personally maintain several blogs and web sites and testing the waters for netpreneurship. Bike commute to work is my moral obligation to help in reducing gas emission.
I Joined 14th Tour of the Fireflies
Monday, November 19, 2012
I join the annual Tour of the Fireflies for the third time. This year's theme is BEST, which stands for Bicycles for Environmentally Sustainable Transportation.
"The event is primarily aimed to support the government's environmental projects on Clean Air and Environmentally Sustainable Transportation strategy," according to the Firefly Brigade's statement.
It is also being held in line with the Philippine Clean Air month celebrations and the kick-off event of the Philippine Climate Change Consciousness Week.
The event is also reported in GMA News TV's Balitanghali
I have taken some photos during the event. The photos are taken at random and from a participants point of view. More photos and official photos are available from Firefly Brigade's Facebook Page.

Carbo-loading in preparation for the tour

My bike leaned at the fence of Dambana ng Ina ng mga Walang Umaampon in Marikina city.
Facebook are known to have a nasty habit of breaking photos' URL. When the time comes you won't be able to see the photos in the space provided above, you might view it from this link: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151167223864370.463957.619219369.

.co.cc Ceased to Exist!
The reason I posted the entry above here in my travelogue blog is because my cycling blog encountered some issues with regards to custom domains this second week of November. Here are some screen captures...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.cc
It's a cycling blog and I wanted a .cc domain, so I end up registering bikelog.cc that happens to be fortunately available for me. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to be configured with Bloggers's custom domain though I already had followed all the instructions of customizing DNS entries. It's already been a few days since I waited.
Problem with custom domain registration.
I will try to wait for a few more days.
