Join the OSM Mapping Party in Marikina
Thursday, March 18, 2010
This Saturday, March 20 2010, there will be a mapping party in Marikina City, with the goal being to completely (and accurately) map the entire city. Be there and if you want to learn how you can contribute to OpenStreetMap and map your area, just come on by this Saturday. Read about the full event details at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/WikiProject_Philippines/Mapping_Party/Marikina. It'll be a great fun filled event and a learning experience for everyone.
OpenStreetMap originally started with just a few people but at present, the site now boasts hundreds of members contributing to create the best online map of our country. The service is 100% free.
