Taking a break posting for my
Cubao photoshoot,
I wandered through the highways and
mountains going to Tanay to send my co-workers for a
religious workshop. Needless to say, we enjoyed our trip by making several stops
for photo ops. The gang gamely posed in front of my camera while a shutterbug
like me enjoyed clicking the shutter button. Unfortunately, I didn't bring with
me my SLR so I ended up utilizing my Samsung mobile phone camera to take all the
photos in this post.
Summary:
- Our group left our head office after lunch time. The weather is fine
and the skies are clear when we head to Tanay via
Marcos Highway.
- Past two in the afternoon, the group start
the photo ops along side the road.
- At three o'clock in the afternoon, we arrived at the
International Youth Leadership Training Center.
- We rest for awhile in the fish pond area.
- From the fish pond area, the group climb up to the
holy ground to pray.
- After the prayer, the group scampered for another
photo ops.
- After the photo ops up there in the holy ground, the groups climbed
down and hopped in to the car. The group would like to visit
Sierra Madre Hotel.
- We could get inside the hotel though. The group were getting hungry so
I recommended Bulalohan at Kainan adjacent to the
hotel.
- After that sumptous meal, I had to dropped the group to the workshop
area and had to make my way back to Manila.
- The sky was getting gloomy on my way back though I had spotted
rainbow along the highway.
- Finally, the rain fell.
- The road was getting so slippery that I
had to focus all my attention into the wheel. I had to slipped my cellphone
camera back into the pocket to avoid accident.
This photo essay started with summer blue skies and ended up with a slippery
road on a rainy late afternoon. There are also few rainbow
photos as bonus.
A few points to be considered in viewing this blog entry:
Please enjoy..

I still recall your original post on MIP regarding the evolution of the Digital Cameras. You made two points, one was about camera's coming with GPS integrated and writing the metadata into the exif. The other was phonecams someday getting up to 10megpixels. Back then I thought, GPS definately, but 10megs on a cam phone? Why waste that resolution on cheap lens. As I followed your blog I learned that the the phone cam is an important and useful tool. More so for private or convenient picture taking. What can you see coming in the next 3-4 years? Now only if they can tackle the noise profiles in these phone cams!

@ haze: Thank you...
@ dong ho: Yes, maganda na ang daan ngayon...
@ Kenia: Thank you...
@ Sidney: My cellphone is simply good ;)
@ Angelo: Thank you...
@ spirithands: I remember that too. I was like putting an emphasis about phonecam not competing with SLR but rather they're complementing with each other. Right this time, I'm planning to buy that Samsung phonecam with 8.0 megapixel to complement with my 6.3 megapixel SLR. Meaning, if I don't need the zoom, I can use phonecam to take photos especially landscape. If I'd like to use zoom lens, I can use my SLR. It can work that way...
