San Miguel by the Bay (Mall Of Asia’s Sunset Strip)

Monday, June 23, 2008

M anila Baywalk already died since last year, and with lesser police visibility at this time, there's no way we should visit the place again without compromising safety. So, when my girlfriend, her kid sister, friend Grace, and me had a time going out for bonding, we instead decided to go to San Miguel by the Bay (earlier known as Sunset Strip) which is located behind SM Mall of Asia and facing Manila's famous sunset. After all, we haven't been there yet in that "part of the mall."

Rain that occured earlier of the day caused an overcast skies in the afternoon. There was no sunset to admire of. Instead, it was drizzling once in a while. We toured inside the mall and when it was getting dark, we headed towards the bay. With such annoying and trying hard models (He he he), our photoshoot began. Cool Ronald Ibay, fellow MIPer and photography enthusiast, together with wife and kid, who we came across at the bay said, "Ang ganda ng mga model n'yo." The set of photos found in this page are just a few taken during the photoshoot. More photos can be viewed from my Multiply album.

Ringo is ending soon

Monday, June 2, 2008

The title is most exactly the subject of the email I received from Ringo today. The news is just too painful for me as most of the photos in this website are hosted in their service. I couldn't complain as the service I availed was for free. Down there is the exact copy of the email I received from them:

From: "Ringo" <bounce@care.ringo.com>

Dear Ringo member,

After much consideration we have decided to end the Ringo service.

As of June 30, 2008 the Ringo service is ending and you will no longer have access to your Ringo account.

How do I get my photos?

We created a new feature that will allow you to download your photos to your computer. Click here to download your photos.

You may also order a CD of your photos. Just sign in to your Ringo account, click on the "You" tab, click" Order prints" and then "Photo Disks".

How do I get my videos?

Videos uploaded to Ringo were hosted for us by a partner. This partner has decided to end this service and after June 30 videos uploaded to Ringo will no longer be available.

Thank you for being part of the Ringo community.

The Ringo Team
