My Complaint Letter to KFC

Tuesday, October 21, 2008

I emailed a complaint letter to KFC this afternoon:

Date: Tue, Oct 21, 2008 at 4:41 PM
Subject: Careless service
To: customercare@kfc.ph

To Whom It May Concern:

At 12:11 noon today, I went to your Shaw Blvd. corner Marie Lane branch for a take out order of one wicked meal and one fully loaded - for me and my boss respectively. The ordering process went smoothly until I got my order and went back to our office. I ate my share ahead of my boss and realized the wicked meal I ordered is not spicy as expected. I was in the middle of my meal when my boss opened his box and found out his chicken to be spicy. We both found out I was eating his classic/regular chicken and he would be eating my spicy chicken. It turned out the crew inadvertently placed the spicy chicken into the fully loaded box and the classic/regular chicken into the wicked meal box. Needless to say, my boss didn't eat his share as he's not eating anything spicy.

I had been KFC's loyal patron for almost two decades, that despite of the fact that some of your branches didn't honor my mother's senior citizen ID (but that's another story). The latest mess caused by your crew is very disappointing not only on my part but most importantly on my boss. Customer traffic was just moderate during the time I placed my order so pressure will never be an excuse for the careless mistake. I should understand this letter of complaint will merit its purpose by advising your crews not to repeat the same blunder again in the future.

For your reference, these are the transaction details:
OR# 118-830
Crew: Tango, Mark Lexter B.
Date/Time: 10/21/2008 12:11
Transaction#: 118-10212008121152

Thank you very much.

Here's hoping your boss ate his french fries at least. Meron ba sang order na ganito?

I always ask for chicken ribs part at KFC and I make it a point to check the pack before I leave the counter.

Dapat pala talaga you should double-check your order before leaving the counter.

@ Marie: Kaya nga eh. There should be no excuse for their mistake kasi dapat customer-oriented sila at all times...

It's really disappointing when your take-out comes out not as you wanted it to be. I've had some chicken orders where the gravy is missing.

KFC should respond to your complaint.

Ah. KFC. I don't eat there anymore because I'm pescotarian. But I used to love the Zinger sandwich!

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comments. Are you looking forward to the week ahead?

Hi, Dr. Joy. Thanx for the visit. I'm sure being pescetarian is a very healthful practice. Now, if only I can avoid those KFC foods :)
