I Didn’t Forget You All

and I meant it! It’s just that I’d been so absorbed with my job getting into the real world (and the online, too!) is getting impossible for me these weeks that passed.

My officemate started his indefinite vacation leave since September and from then on, I momentarily had to assume his works while he’s away. I didn’t know he’s that into multi-tasking he’s performing duties good enough for seven persons. When his workload was passed on to me, I am having a hard time coping with this work standard. Need not say more, I end up getting married with my new work now even before I could marry my girlfriend Jovy.

The additional workload severely had affected my lifestyle. I wasn’t able to read Philippine Daily Inquirer for three weeks already. My weekend DVD marathon had been cut-off. My visits to my girlfriend are becoming irregular. Housekeeping and laundry have been neglected as Sundays are still consumed by work-related affairs. My girlfriend Jovy is already upset with my work schedule but I told her this thing is just a temporary setback. I should recover in time.

Today is the schedule for the most awaited Canon Photo Marathon but look where I am now? I am presently confined in the four corners of my cubicle. It has been already two years in a row that I wasn’t able to participate the event. This time is just the same as last year. I wish good luck to MIPers who participated today's Canon Photo Marathon.

Speaking of Canon, this is my only camera brand since I started with my photography hobby fourteen years ago. The photo above shows my worn and battered Canon EOS 750QD, a 35mm film SLR. My domain, digital rebel website, is dedicated to my present digital SLR, Canon Digital Rebel 300D.

I’m glad to see my friend Sidney to be back into business with more interesting posts being offered. His sari-sari store, a photoblog about the Philippines has been in a long hiatus (or it was he) for quite sometime and a lot of visitors had been missing his interesting posts. Welcome back, Sidney!

My site had been receiving thousands of useless hits these months that passed. This year alone, I’d been upgrading my hosting plan several times already yet it didn’t solve my dilemma of running short of bandwidth. I already had my monthly bandwidth allocation be raised up to 50GB a month yet nothing much favourable happened to me yet. My annual web hosting bill is becoming so undeniable.

My girlfriend and I celebrated our second anniversary last September 28. To signify the occasion, we went to Fuji Film in SM Megamall for studio shots. These are the photos that worked for us. Click the thumbnail to see full size images.

Oh, well. Before I may end here, I would like to inform all readers that SM Megamall is on its 3-day Sale starting yesterday, October 17. To participate with the sale, our company is offering our energy drink to customers two for the price of one. While SM Megamall's sale will end up tomorrow, October 19, our energy drink's big big sale will be up until December or until supply lasts. See the poster below for reference.

Il Hwa Philippines, Inc.

Our shop is located at the upper ground of SM Megamall, Bldg. A. You may dial 6332318 for further inquiries.

This is just for now. Happy weekend to all!!!

Sweet pictures of the two of you! Congratulations on reaching 2 years as a couple and on your coming nuptials!

I don't fully understand how you have bandwidth issues on the blogger platform. Google has been very generous with with successful bloggers. I don't haven't heard of them blocking websites with lots of bandwidth. As for bandwidth with regular websites and domain names the price is unbelievable. $4 (US) a month is enough and comes with 300GB of data transfer. (I use 1and1.com for domain and hosting and it allows the cname as you know already). Anyways It's always good to hear from you.
