New Year's Eve 2007

Monday, January 1, 2007

This is a scene that can be witnessed at the last moment of December 31st, prior to the turning of another year, 2007. Many people attended parties and countdown the last few seconds to midnight. While New Year's Eve is often celebrated with merrymaking to usher in the new year at midnight, Jovy spent the New Year celebration at home together with her younger sister, a nephew, and of course, me, whom they invited so they could be livelier at home. The folks in their house are attending an out of town religious gathering.

Fireworks spectator: Nene and Jovy

Felt envious with their neighbors, they lighted their fireworks, too! Hahaha...

That's it!

The small celebration that we had...

Happy New Year to everyone. Welcome 2007!
