My Blurry Tagaytay Adventure
Friday, January 19, 2007
It's crazy, I know when somebody is
proud to show off blurry photos
in his blog. But then, that depends upon the intention. I already have written
my account of our
Tagaytay Trip with Jovy and her
sister where good photos
were inserted into that article. I now
focus in writing about blurry images.
I thought my tripod was already good enough but then, its resistance to strong
winds prove nothing when used at the top of People's Park in the Sky. The weight of my telephoto lens
is not sufficient enough to stabilize my tripod against the wind. I tried to remove the
lens hood so to minimize wind dragging but the shaking persisted. I realized I
need a sturdier tripod especially on the Batanes adventure.
I was upset I cannot stabilize my camera so I released the
camera from its mounting and handheld at 300mm, I tried another shot. The
photo below is just the shot that I got right that moment.
With an unstable tripod, you can never make it right :( With stable hands, you
don't need to bring tripod with you (kidding).
In one of the shops beneath the People's Park, I saw these magnetic souvenirs.
Those items look familiar to me. When I scrutinized, I realized those are
products of TP Made Manufacturing (in Pasig), one of my first project in 2003
when I returned back to Manila after resigning from my job in Iloilo. In fact,
that Cagsawa Ruins photo was mine taken a February then in the same year. I
proudly told my girlfriend about it.
By the way, it's my fourth time being in this place. First time to be with
thousands of people, and first time of taking public rides going to this place.
The photo below is the bluest sky that I had captured in this place so far!Blurry, blurry, blurry!
It's A Small World
