Experiencing Cultural Exchange with the Aetas

Friday, January 7, 2005

I had the chance of staying with the Aetas and mingled with them during my voluntary mission with Service for Peace project. The following are the very few of the photos I had taken with them.

Tribal chieftain Roque Laxamana and Pastor Al prepared the bamboos to be used for cooking rice.

Aeta kids: not a camera-shy type

The Aetas' ancestral domain.                                   The Aeta domicile in Mabalacat, Pampanga.

Two Aeta kids posed for a photograph.                          A typical Aeta hut.

Aeta kids lead Korean volunteers into dancing the tribal dance.

All photographs were taken using Canon EOS 750QD on a Kodak ISO400 film.
