General's Treat at Manila Polo Club

The Manila Polo Club is one of the oldest private clubs in the Philippines. It is located in the exclusive residential area of Forbes Park, conveniently near the commercial district of Makati which is home to Manila’s premier hotels, malls and bars.

Just this afternoon (the day I'm writing this blog), * Retired General Florencio F. Magsino (more detail about him), treat me a bountiful lunch of this member exclusive polo club. It was truly an honor to be a guest of a general. It was one of a lifetime opportunity for a very ordinary person like me.

*Gen. Florencio F. Magsino is a classmate of Edwin Aldrin at West Point. Edwin Aldrin is one of the first two human to step on the moon on July 16, 1969.
